Tarrytown Sideboard

The Tarrytown Sideboard is a handcrafted walnut storage piece designed around proportion, material clarity, and quiet interaction. Sliding doors move across the front to reveal or conceal a three-drawer bank, allowing the piece to shift subtly between display and restraint.

Built in solid walnut with a steel base, Tarrytown balances visual weight with lift. Its stance keeps the piece grounded while maintaining a sense of openness, making it well suited to dining rooms, living spaces, and studio interiors.
This design is produced in small runs as a repeatable, refined work.

Design & Construction

Tarrytown is constructed in solid walnut with shop-made walnut veneer panels selected and laid for continuous grain across the front. Sliding doors allow the composition to shift quietly, revealing or concealing a three-drawer bank without interrupting the exterior geometry.
A fabricated steel base lifts the case from the floor, reinforcing the piece’s architectural presence while providing long-term structural stability.
No applied distressing or artificial aging is used. The piece is allowed to read honestly through material, proportion, and finish.
